Equip & Endure (S01)

Equip to Endure is all about the art of surviving in a tropical rainforest with the aid of innovative camping equipment present in today’s outdoor market. Essentially, we want people to understand the potential of different equipment and methods to fully utilize these items in their backpacks.

This course will push the limits and challenge our participants to innovate and creative to make the most out of their equipment during a survival situation in a tropical rainforest environment.

They will be introduced to a variety of topics such as shelter building, water sourcing and management, fire building, outdoor cooking, navigation and rescue signalling that will prepare all outdoor enthusiasts and urban campers to be ready for anything during their next true adventure.

Equip to Endure will also further equip you in your nature preservation and conservation efforts by applying the 7 principles of Leave No Trace to continually minimize impacts towards the environment. Upon completion of the course, all participants will receive a Leave No Trace Awareness certificate.

Conducted on a pristine campground that combines lush greenery, majestic rivers and the sounds of nature with the comfort of essential facilities such as clean showers, accommodation (if required) and basic electrical equipment, you will be able to enjoy every moment as you equip yourselves to survive and endure the challenges of the outdoors.

• About the course:
• This is a 2-day 1-night course, conducted in Hulu Langat, Selangor, Malaysia.
• This course is limited to 15 participants who must be aged 15 and above.
• Participants age between 15-18 must provide a signed parental or guardian release form.
• The course will start from 0900am on Day 1 and ends at 1530pm on Day 2.
• Participants are required to pay a deposit of RM250 to secure and guarantee their spot for the course.
• Please note that all deposits are non-refundable but transferable
