Reconnect Outdoors (C01)

Reconnect Outdoors introduces the fundamentals and the art of camping for families through understanding and practical application.

This course will benefit families and strengthen their bond when they work together to complete the various activities in the environment that we have set up. Families will have to be innovative and creative in order to solve challenges that are normally present in a camping environment.

You will be introduced to a variety of topics including tent setup, equipment-making using natural and other resources found within the environment, campfire starting, navigation, and map reading as well as the principles of Leave No Trace that will prepare families for their next big adventure together.

The seven principles of Leave No Trace are essential in our participants’ journey to preserve and conserve nature. It also aims to build strong ethics that will enable them to minimize their impact towards the environment.

Upon completion of the course, all family members will receive an industry-recognized Leave No Trace Awareness certificate.

Reconnect Outdoors will be conducted on a pristine campground in the tropical rainforest that combines lush greenery, majestic rivers and the sounds of nature with the comfort of essential facilities such as clean showers, accommodation (if required) and basic electrical equipment.

About This course:

• This is a 2-day 1-night course, conducted in Hulu Langat, Selangor, Malaysia.
• This course is limited to seven families of maximum 4 members. For families with more than 4 members, an extra charge per pax will apply.
• The minimmum age for participation is 6 years old.
• The course will start from 0930am on Day 1 and ends at 1400pm on Day 2
• Families are required to provide payment to secure and guarantee their spot on the course.
• Please note that all payments made are non-refundable but transferable.
